Even if you already know us, please read this page carefully before applying. We receive a lot of applications, and while we’d love to give everyone the personal attention they deserve, the reality is that we reject most applicants.

This page is here to help you decide whether your mindset and way of working match our culture and priorities.

Every day we get to work on mind-blowing, impactful applications for companies all over the world. All of us are deeply into technology: we follow the latest gadgets, hypes, and possibilities. We breathe tech (not literally, of course).

We love challenging work. If something is too easy, we don’t want to do it. We’re a team of bright, ambitious people who aim to build the best solutions for our partners. We don’t stop until everyone involved is genuinely happy with the result.

This isn’t meant to sound arrogant. We just want to be clear about what we expect and how we work.

We’ve worked hard to build the culture we have today: a mix of nationalities, backgrounds, and interests, all united by one passion: building cool stuff.
During interviews we assess your hard skills, of course, but your soft skills matter just as much (sometimes more). We look at how you think, what your priorities are, and where you want to be a few years from now. We always ask what you want to learn, you better have a good answer to this!

What we expect from you

Honesty

Be honest about your ambitions, your expectations, and what you think El Niño can do better. Got an idea to improve a project? Tell us. Think a teammate could grow in a certain skill? Share it respectfully.

A “Just do it” mentality

Don’t overthink everything. Try things, ship things, learn fast. Always have a plan B in case things don’t go as expected. Want to test a new feature with a beta group? Go for it. Want to push a performance improvement to production? Go for it

Good communication

We work from our offices, home and remotely. Communication is essential! If you don’t communicate clearly and consistently, progress slows down for everyone.

Pro-active attitude

Be proactive in the big things and the small things: help colleagues, improve what you just launched, flag blockers early, and keep the team moving.

Multi-task

You may work on multiple projects at the same time - sometimes in totally different domains on the same day
